Don’t you love it when your friends read your blog and follow your advice while thinking about your birthday gift? I must note that these particular friends always give a lot of thought to all the gifts they give… But I couldn’t help but noticing that this time they were inspired by this blog; and I couldn’t be happier for that.

In order to understand this kit you need to know that I own a deck of inspirational cards called cards of wonder. Each card carries a word and an illustration and I often use it as a motivational instrument. I even have a habit of uploading them as word of a day to Facebook, in order to spread this inspiration among my friends. (I often give this deck of cards as a gift, though I will elaborate about that on a separate post).

So what my dear friends did was to pick a word and revolve my birthday gift around it. In a way they made a word of the day kit…. How wonderful! The chosen word is comfort and they really took the time to make and collect different items in order to construct this kit. So what  do we have?

 

 

1. A beautiful hand-made keyboard cushion (Notice that they even matched the face to my cat’s-so sweet).

2. Hand-made  cat-shaped sleeping mask (Sleeping is one of my favorite activities).

3. An assortment of bath and body products (All I need for a pampering evening).

4. A floral hair clip.

5. All of the above presented in a beautiful basket (Oh I do love wicker).
